Ok if you want to be close to the airport; but not a vacation destination

Breakfast we terrible and there wasn't enough to go round. Our room was changed without advance warning. No privacy.

Being a new hotel, the rooms were lovley. The beds were very soft, bright colour in the room and nice bathroom. The app used for room service, ordering housecleaning and viewing shuttle bus times was great! This made communication easy at the hotel. Shuttle service was very handy daily to beach.
Staff were very hard to communicate with. Other than one lady on reception who was very helpful, we struggled to speak with any staff. My partner had an early breakfast while I slept. When I came down 2 hours later and he joined me, one lady hurried over to him, waving a sign pointing at a 2000bht fine for having breakfast twice. It was extremely rude and unprofessional. Especially when he wasn't eating, and that is not even the cost of breakfast. That event was so uncomfortable it ruined our experience. She embarrassed us both. We ordered room service, but 7 out of 9 dishes we chose were unavailable. Once we found something they had, only the salad arrived. Was then told they didn't have the other 2 items. So, there was no dinner for us that night and just went to sleep. We didn't bother with eating at the hotel again and went out for all of our meals. Overall, the place is really beautiful, but the pool access is mostly for anyone staying on the lower level. There is nowhere to sunbake unless you have a pool access villa. Also very slippery tiles, so be careful. I hope that these issues are only due to it being new and that with time and serious staff training they improve. It's a very stunning looking hotel.
